3. General information only
The content on this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes.
It does not constitute legal, financial, accounting, investment, technical-security or other regulated professional advice.
The content should not be treated as a substitute for advice based on your specific circumstances.
Before relying on website content to make an important business, legal, technical or financial decision, obtain appropriate professional advice where required.
4. No client relationship
Accessing this website, reading its content, submitting an enquiry or communicating with ProCited does not by itself create:
- a consultant-client relationship;
- a contractual engagement;
- an obligation for ProCited to provide services;
- an exclusive relationship;
- a fiduciary relationship; or
- a duty to act on information submitted through the website.
A client relationship begins only when the relevant parties agree to a written proposal, scope of work, services agreement or other written engagement terms.
Any client engagement will be governed by the terms agreed for that engagement. If those terms conflict with these website Terms, the specific client agreement will apply to the services covered by that agreement.
5. No guarantee of AI visibility or outcomes
AI platforms, search engines and third-party websites are operated independently of ProCited.
Their systems, models, sources, interfaces, algorithms, retrieval methods and generated answers may change without notice.
ProCited does not control the answers, citations, mentions, rankings, recommendations or source selections produced by third-party platforms.
Nothing on this website constitutes a promise or guarantee that:
- a person, business, brand, product or service will appear in an AI-generated answer;
- an AI platform will cite or mention a particular website;
- an entity will be recommended for a particular question;
- a particular source will be discovered, indexed or used;
- an AI answer will remain consistent over time;
- search rankings or website traffic will improve;
- content will be indexed within a particular period;
- a specific commercial outcome will be achieved; or
- work performed by ProCited will produce identical results across different platforms, prompts, models, users or locations.
References to recognition, confidence, citation, recommendation or AI Visibility describe intended objectives and areas of improvement. They are not guaranteed outcomes.
6. Point-in-time information
AI-generated answers and search results can vary according to factors including:
- the platform or model used;
- the date and time of testing;
- the wording of the question;
- the user’s location;
- personalisation;
- available web sources;
- retrieval settings;
- product changes; and
- model updates.
Any AI response, prompt test, visibility observation, example or assessment published on this website represents a point-in-time observation unless expressly stated otherwise.
Historical observations should not be interpreted as proof that the same result will continue to appear.
7. Accuracy and currency
ProCited aims to publish clear, useful and accurate information.
However, the fields of AI search, generative AI, search optimisation and digital publishing change quickly. We do not warrant that every page will always be:
- complete;
- current;
- error-free;
- suitable for every purpose; or
- applicable to every platform or circumstance.
We may correct, update, replace or remove website content at any time.
Publication and modification dates may be displayed where appropriate. A modification date does not necessarily mean that every statement on a page has been independently reverified on that date.
8. The ProCited Echo Principle™
The ProCited Echo Principle™ is a framework developed by ProCited for explaining the relationship between an entity’s original voice and the credible third-party echoes surrounding it.
The framework is intended to explain and guide an approach to digital clarity, corroboration and AI Visibility. It does not claim to describe the internal operation of every AI system, and it does not guarantee recognition, citation or recommendation.
The official publishing home of the framework is TheEchoPrinciple.com.
9. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original content are owned by or licensed to ProCited.
This includes:
- written content;
- original definitions;
- service descriptions;
- methods and frameworks;
- diagrams;
- graphics;
- branding;
- logos;
- page designs;
- videos;
- downloads;
- databases;
- structured compilations; and
- original website materials.
The names ProCited, The ProCited Echo Principle™ and associated branding may be protected by trademark, copyright or other intellectual-property rights.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to a website user.
10. Permitted use
You may:
- access and read the website for personal or legitimate business purposes;
- share links to publicly available pages;
- quote limited portions of the website where legally permitted;
- refer to ProCited concepts with clear and accurate attribution; and
- download materials that are expressly made available for downloading.
Any quotation, reference or attribution must not:
- misrepresent the original meaning;
- imply endorsement, partnership or approval that does not exist;
- remove a stated author or source;
- present ProCited content as the work of another party; or
- create confusion about the origin of a framework, term or definition.
11. Prohibited use
You must not use this website in a way that:
- breaches any applicable law;
- infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- is fraudulent, deceptive or misleading;
- impersonates ProCited or another person;
- falsely suggests an association with or endorsement by ProCited;
- introduces malware, malicious code or harmful technology;
- interferes with the website’s operation or security;
- attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
- bypasses access controls or published technical restrictions;
- overloads the website through excessive automated requests;

- republishes substantial portions of the website without permission;
- creates a misleading copy or imitation of the website;
- extracts content for unlawful or deceptive purposes; or
- uses ProCited content to make false, fabricated or unsupported claims.
This restriction does not prohibit ordinary indexing or retrieval by legitimate search engines and AI systems that comply with the website’s published crawler instructions and technical controls.
12. Automated access and content extraction
Automated systems must respect:
- the website’s robots.txt file;
- applicable metadata and crawler directives;
- access restrictions;
- reasonable request limits; and
- applicable laws.
Permission to crawl or index a public webpage does not transfer ownership of its content or grant permission to reproduce, resell, misrepresent or republish substantial portions of that content.
ProCited may restrict or block automated access that creates security, performance, legal or operational concerns.
13. Enquiries and submitted information
When submitting an enquiry, you must provide information that is accurate and that you are authorised to provide.
Do not submit:
- passwords;
- payment-card information;
- private access credentials;
- confidential client databases;
- sensitive personal information;
- health information;
- government identification documents; or
- material belonging to another party without permission,
unless ProCited has specifically requested the information through an appropriate and agreed process.
Submitting unsolicited information does not require ProCited to:
- retain it;
- review it;
- act on it;
- treat it as confidential beyond applicable legal obligations; or
- provide services.
Personal information submitted through the website will be handled in accordance with the ProCited Privacy Policy. A privacy policy explains how an entity handles personal information, and covered Australian entities are required to maintain one under the Privacy Act.
14. Feedback and suggestions
You may provide feedback, ideas or suggestions concerning the website or ProCited’s services.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, submitting general feedback does not:
- transfer ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property;
- require ProCited to use the feedback;
- create an obligation to compensate you; or
- prevent ProCited from independently developing similar ideas.
ProCited may use non-confidential feedback to improve its website, services and processes.
15. Third-party websites and platforms
This website may contain links to third-party websites, tools, publications, directories, social platforms, AI platforms or other external resources.
Links are provided for context or convenience. Unless expressly stated, a link does not mean that ProCited:
- owns or controls the third-party resource;
- endorses everything published there;
- guarantees its accuracy;
- accepts responsibility for its availability;
- approves its privacy or security practices; or
- has a commercial relationship with its operator.
Third-party resources are governed by their own terms, policies and practices.
ProCited is not responsible for changes made to a third-party page after it has been linked from this website.
16. Availability and security
ProCited does not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from defects.
Access may be suspended or limited for:
- maintenance;
- security work;
- technical problems;
- hosting interruptions;
- legal requirements;
- content updates; or
- circumstances beyond ProCited’s reasonable control.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate device, browser, network and security protections.
17. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified, including rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a guarantee, condition, warranty or other right is implied by law and cannot legally be excluded, these Terms operate subject to that right.
The ACCC states that applicable consumer guarantees are automatic and cannot be removed by contractual terms.
18. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.
ProCited does not make any representation or warranty that:
- website content will meet every user’s requirements;
- every statement will remain current indefinitely;
- using the website will produce a particular result;
- the website will be continuously available;
- third-party links will remain active;
- an AI or search platform will use information in a particular way; or
- content will be suitable for a user’s particular business or technical environment.
These disclaimers do not apply where a representation, warranty or guarantee cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProCited is not liable for loss arising solely from:
- reliance on general website information without obtaining appropriate advice;
- changes made by search engines, AI platforms or other third parties;
- variations in AI-generated answers;
- loss of visibility, rankings, citations, mentions or recommendations;
- third-party content or websites;
- temporary website unavailability;
- unauthorised or unlawful use of the website by another person; or
- decisions made using outdated or incomplete information.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, ProCited’s liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful.
20. Suspension or restriction of access
ProCited may suspend, restrict or block access to the website where reasonably necessary to:
- protect the website or other users;
- investigate suspected misuse;
- prevent unlawful conduct;
- respond to security risks;
- enforce these Terms; or
- comply with a legal requirement.
21. Privacy
Use of personal information collected through the website is governed by the ProCited Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms.
22. Changes to these Terms
ProCited may update these Terms when its website, business practices, services or legal obligations change.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes apply to use of the website from the date the updated Terms are published. They do not retrospectively alter an existing signed client agreement unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be read down or removed to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
24. No waiver
A failure or delay by ProCited in exercising a right under these Terms does not waive that right.
A waiver is effective only when it is given clearly and in writing.
25. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state or territory and any courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
Nothing in this section prevents a person from exercising a right they have under an applicable consumer-protection law.
